Resources

Books

I’ve started by putting together a list of some of my favorite books related to parenting and child development. This list is certainly not exhaustive–I’m always stumbling across another interesting find! My intention is to keep the list more manageable and just to post the books that I would consider indispensable.

Infant/Toddler (0-3)

Primary (3-6)

Elementary (6-12)

Adolescence (12-18)

Children and Nature

Parenting

    Hi Leena,

I was wondering if i could speak to you about the possibility of using one of your images in an interactive exhibit for the Oregon Historical Society. Would you email me to discuss?! Thanks!

    Lena,
Hello – I am enjoying your blog. I am a Montessorian who once trained in MN. I just wanted to let you know that the Author of Children Who are Not Yet Peaceful is Donna Goertz…rather than Deborah.

    Thanks for all the info.

I write A to I parenting books for NAMTA. Let me know if you would like any info on our new publications.

Oh, yes! I knew that–thanks for catching the error! I’ll change it right away.

And I’d love to do some reviews of NAMTA’s new A to I books! I’m so glad they’re doing more videos and books for that level. I’d love to take A to I training some day…but first I have to make it through this last summer of elementary!

      All the best,
      Lena
